The talks will bring together ministers from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany, according to Poland’s interior ministry.
Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said the discussions will focus on security challenges in the Baltic region, including recent maritime incidents.
“We are working systematically with our European partners on how best to respond jointly to Russian provocations,” he said.
Kierwiński added that Poland was establishing a Maritime Security Centre to coordinate monitoring efforts in the Baltic Sea and share information with partner countries.
“It will integrate all our national resources for monitoring activities in the Baltic basin, and we will share our experience with our European partners,” he said.
Other topics will include plans for a cross-border “drone wall” and the protection of critical infrastructure, officials said.
